The Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Toner: AHA + BHA is a light and gentle daily exfoliating toner that can cleanse away dead skin cells, excess sebum, and other impurities on the skin's surface that may remain after cleansing. The main ingredient is green plum water, which has long been a part of herbal medicine. As a cosmetic ingredient, green plum water helps remove dead skin cells and care for skin texture. It creates a wonderful synergy with mung bean extract, a skin-soothing ingredient, and chemical exfoliants AHA and BHA (2% glycolic acid and 0.5% salicylic acid) to improve overall skin health.
How to use:
- After cleansing in the morning and evening, moisten a cotton pad and gently wipe your skin from the inside out.
- Or place a sufficient amount in the palm of your hand and gently pat onto skin to absorb.

AHA + BHA
With a blend of 2% glycolic acid and 0.5% salicylic acid, you can use it every morning and evening to remove dead skin cells without irritating your skin. It is made with a mild formula that combines a low concentration of chemical exfoliants and plant extracts, rather than trying to achieve strong effects through too high concentrations of AHA and BHA, as cosmetics are not classified as medicines. This is because we believe it is important to constantly monitor and care for the condition of the skin without causing irritation.
Q/What skin types can use this product?
It works well with all skin types, however if you are new to using AHA or BHA or have very sensitive skin, use a small amount for a patch test.
Q/Can pregnant women use it?
A/Pregnant women can use this product, but there are major hormonal changes during pregnancy, so be sure to consult your doctor before choosing a product.
Q/Can I use it day and night?
A/Yes. Be sure to apply sunscreen if you use it during the day.
Q/My skin stings sometimes. Is this normal?
Due to the nature of AHA and BHA, your skin may sting a little. Start with a small amount to give your skin time to adjust first.
